Application Fee

Application Fees can be referred in to the Second Schedule of Communications and Multimedia (Spectrum) Regulations 2000 and its amendments, as follows:

  1. Application for AA: RM 60 per application
  2. Application for variation of an AA: RM 20 per application
    Variation is not allowed for the following items:
    1. Change of AA holder;
    2. Coordinate of station; and
    3. Frequency Band.
  3. Application for certified true copy (CTC): RM 10 per application

Assignment Fee

Fees for Apparatus Assignment can be referred to in the First Schedule of the Communications and Multimedia (Spectrum) Regulations 2000 and its amendments. The Schedule consists of Table A (Fixed fees) and Table B (Variable fees).

AA Fees calculation for Land Mobile Radio Private Network Simplex application
The frequency for access device (mobile/portable/handheld) are assigned by way of AA.

Example:
Point to point simplex communication will be used at Port Klang and operating in UHF frequency band (simplex) with single frequency channel and bandwidth of 12.5 kHz for operation and security purposes. The total number of mobile is 30 units.

Example of AA fees calculation (Duplex)

AA Fees calculation for Land Mobile Radio Private Network Duplex application
The frequency for repeater and its associated access device (mobile/portable/handheld) are assigned by way of AA. Therefore, the AA fee is charged for repeater and its access device

Example:
Single repeater will be installed at Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and operating in UHF frequency band (duplex) with single pairing of frequency channel and bandwidth of 12.5 kHz for operation and security purposes. The total number of mobile is 30 units.
